KoiZyme™ is a biological formula of naturally occurring bacteria, enzymes and micro-nutrients. When KoiZyme™ is introduced into pond water that is infected with Aeromonas, Pseudomonas or any gram negative or gram positive bacteria, the bacteria and enzymes in KoiZyme™ competes with these pathogens for the nutrients in the pond water. KoiZyme™ will consume these nutrients and thus starve Aeromonas and Pseudomonas. The product was developed for the Aquaculture Industry in early 1997 by Keeton Industries. Keeton Industries , knowing this product was to be used in ponds and tanks containing "food fish", ruled out using chemicals when developing the product. When used as directed, KoiZyme™ will reduce the bacterial count of Aeromonas, Pseudomonas or pathogens to such low levels that they will not be a threat to the health of the fish. It is impossible to completely remove the Aeromonas and Pseudomonas bacteria from the pond water, but KoiZyme™ when used on a regular basis, will keep the Aeromonas and Pseudomonas and other pathogens levels low. |

This remarkable nitrifier, like KoiZyme, comes to us from the Aquaculture Industry. KI-Nitrifier-TX is a super-concentrate formula. A one-ounce jar of KI-Nitrifier-TX will start any system up to 38,000 gallons. KI-Nitrifier-TX (super-concentrate) is the first microbial ammonia-nitrite degrader where quality control is maintained by incorporating the super-concentrate into a refrigerated gelatinous form. KI-Nitrifier-TX is refrigerated until use, maintaining the viability of the nitrifying microorganisms. Unlike premixed liquid forms, the viability of the nitrifying bacteria can be assured. It is shipped to us in a refrigerated Styrofoam lined container. Like KoiZyme, it must be refrigerated at our facility until sold. KI-Nitrifier-TX can quickly start or restart difficult biological filters by providing an immediate source of nitrifying microbes during the period of biologic building in the filter. Each one-ounce jar will re hydrate into approximately 3 quarts of nitrifying liquid. The user will mix 1/3 of the jar of KI-Nitrifier-TX with 1 quart of pond water and then aerate the mixture for 1 hour prior to pouring directly into the filter or pond. This procedure is repeated five days after initial treatment and then 1 final treatment five days after treatment #2. KI-Nitrifier-TX is mixed with the pond water only prior to use, thus assuring the maximum numbers of microbes are available for colonization. KI-Nitrifier-TX has been tested by Dr. Erik Johnson. After trying to start several virgin filters, he emailed us to say that KI-Nitrifier-TX "was a smashing success"! |
